The exam was held in two sessions — January and April — witnessing a significant participation. Out of 15,39,848 registered unique candidates, 14,75,103 appeared across both sessions. The January round saw 13,11,544 registrations and 12,58,136 candidates appearing, while 10,61,840 registered and 9,92,350 appeared in April.

The computer-based test was conducted in 13 languages across 300 cities, including 15 international centres such as Dubai, Doha, Singapore, and Washington DC.

Rajasthan topped the list with seven of the 24 perfect scorers, followed by Maharashtra and Telangana with four each, Uttar Pradesh with three, West Bengal with two, and one each from Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. Among the toppers, two female candidates—Devdutta Majhi (West Bengal) and Sai Manogna Guthikonda (Andhra Pradesh)—secured 100 percentile.

NTA also released the category-wise cut-off percentile for JEE Advanced 2025 eligibility:

  • UR: 93.10
  • EWS: 80.38
  • OBC-NCL: 79.43
  • SC: 61.15
  • ST: 47.90
  • UR-PwBD: 0.0079

To ensure transparency, NTA implemented advanced security protocols, including AI-driven video surveillance, biometric attendance, 5G jammers, and live CCTV monitoring. Despite this, results of 110 candidates were withheld for unfair practices, and 23 for identity discrepancies.

With results declared, eligible students will now gear up for JEE Advanced — the gateway to admissions in IITs. Among the total test-takers, 8,33,536 registered for both sessions, and 7,75,383 appeared twice. For such candidates, the better score was considered for the final ranking.
